Dr. Scott Goldsmith earned his medical degree at the University of Florida’s College of Medicine, and afterward conducted both his internal medicine residency and hematology-oncology fellowship at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO. He joined City of Hope in 2021 as an Assistant Professor in the Multiple Myeloma Division, and specializes in the treatment of myeloma and other plasma cell dyscrasias. He has broad research interests including molecular pathogenesis, minimal residual disease, cellular therapies, and development of novel therapies. He is the principal investigator of several investigator-initiated and early-phase clinical trials in these spaces. Additionally, he has served on the City of Hope IRB for over two years, and became the associate chair in January 2024.
