Rivka Siden joined the NCI CPC CIRB after working at the University of Michigan (UM) as a clinical pharmacy specialist and a clinical research/regulatory project manager. She spent most of her career supporting oncology clinical trials at the UM Investigational Drug Service (17 years) and recently assisted UM investigators with FDA regulated research. She was a member of the UM Comprehensive Cancer Center Protocol Review Committee for 16 years. In addition, she is a member of the SWOG Pharmaceutical Sciences Committee and the Children Oncology Group Pharmacy Committee. Her main areas of interest are Investigational Drug Service operation and patient education on the safe use of investigational drugs. Dr. Siden received her Bachelor of Pharmacy and Master of Pharmaceutical Sciences degrees from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
